The Award is being expanded to honor works of Western Fiction, Western Fiction for Children, Western Non-fiction, Western Non-fiction for Children, Cookbooks and Western Photographic Essays, Western Film Documentary & Western Film with the same basic objective in mind.
For All New Categories we will accept submissions for 2009 & 2010.
Each category will be considered separately. Within each category, up to 5 entries may be honored, if the judges decide they merit the Award. That does not mean 5 entries in every category will be honored, and such a circumstance would be extraordinary.
The other change is each submission will now need to add $25.00. The $25.00 submission cost will go toward building the Award Fund.
